A Place to Think

Every so often you just need to get away from everything and go somewhere to just be you yourself and just think. My little hideaway is the local beach. The calming seas and slight wind bristling it just helps me rec focus again and get myself back together. It’s always a prime location for photos when I have my camera on me. No matter what time of the year I always find something interesting to shoot whether its the weather or something that’s seems different for the beach.

Recently I’ve been spending a lot of time down the pier that reaches out to the sea by about a mile. The pier has become a little tourist spot for the locals because of some wild seals that have started to appear on the steps of the pier to hide away in the shade. Fortunately I’ve been able to catch a few photos of these seals. Even getting a. Cheeky little wave and smile from them. The long walk alone is worth it, to just to get some sun and fresh air.

Other wars of the beach consists of the Groyne which i used to photograph often with both the mirrorless camera and the 360 camera, At the other end of the you have the Leas which is a two mile walk and bike path. Personally I’ve never I actually did the two mile trek, but hopefully I will one day.

Overall the beach is somewhere I like to just to go to just think and refocus. The location lets me go into a tranquil state and where i can relax and just let my thoughts just drift away.
